Using FRX v6.7 on MAS 500 v7.2

Was working fine until yesterday.

"OFSI Server is not available. Make sure it is installed and registered
properly" message appears when attempting to log into FRX Designer.

Same message appears when trying to "Set as Default" any company in Company
Information.

Clicking on "Save" in Company Information appears to do nothing.

"Accounting System:" field in Company Information only shows "FRx Demo
General Ledger" & "Select Accounting System"

Any ideas or suggestions?

Much thanks in advance!

It sounds like the interface (the OFSI) between the GL and FRx somehow got
unregistered on that computer. Make sure you have all FRx programs closed,
then go to the folder where FRx is installed (by default this would be
c:\program files\frx software\frx 6.7\). Find the file called FRxReg.exe.
Run that file, it will open a command window for a little while but you will
not need to do anything but wait till it finishes. When the command window
goes away it is done. Try opening and loging into FRx again.

If that does not solve your problem please let me know directly at

Hi Rob,

We tried that, but it did not work. It appears that all of our workstations
did not have the same service pack of FRX which caused some corruption issues
that required Sage tech support to help us with ....
